Article abstract: This is the second part of a life history study of the Cactus Wren (Campylorhynchus brunneicapillus). Most of the field observations were made in the vicinity of Tucson, Arizona. In Part I (Condor, 1957) we discussed the environment, winter activities, roosting nests, song, territorial establishment, and pair formation. This second part deals chiefly with the beginning of the breeding cycle of the local population of wrens. Our studies are still in progress, and, since Part I was written, additional Cactus Wrens have been trapped and color-banded.
