Article abstract: The following suggested guidelines are provided to facilitate accurate assessments of the presence/absence of the State and federally endangered least Bell's vireo (Vireo bellii pusillus, vireo) to provide the Fish and Wildlife Service with sufficient information to adequately respond to requests for applicable Federal permits and licenses, and to fulfill our mandate to conserve and recover the species.
