This position assists the Habitat Restoration Department Manager with the habitat restoration projects of the Santa Ana Watershed Association (SAWA). The Field Supervisor will supervise restoration technician crews, recommend and plan restoration programs, represent SAWA with landowners of project sites, assure Best Management Practices are employed, interact with all SAWA member agencies and SAWA clients. The position is field-based and requires knowledge of Southern California native plants and invasive plant species, experience in surveys, GIS mapping, herbicide application, and herbicide use reporting, power equipment and restoration techniques.
