California Invasive Species Tours

The Invasive Species Council of California (ISCC) and related California Invasive Species Advisory Committee are planning invasive species tours throughout the state. The goal of the invasive species tours is to bring together elected officials, industry, agencies, UC Cooperative Extension, tribal, NGOs, local partners and others to create a shared understanding of our California Pest Prevention System, ways to improve the system, and protect our agriculture, natural resources, and unique biodiversity from invasive species.

We invite you to join us on these tours to provide a field-based understanding of priority invasive species issues in California’s natural and managed landscapes, while highlighting local response efforts and the partners leading or supporting that work. We hope participants will join us in discussing regional considerations to invasive species management, impacts associated with climate change, and identify opportunities for collaboration across jurisdictions.
