CRAM 5-day Practitioner-Level Training Session
This is an EPA grant-funded training for Tribal and State/Federal agency staff only.
A grant from the EPA Wetland Program Development Fund has provided the San Francisco Estuary Institute with the opportunity to host two CRAM 5-day practitioner-level trainings at no cost to the participants (regularly $1,800). CRAM is a cost-effective and scientifically defensible rapid assessment method for monitoring the conditions of wetlands throughout California. It is designed for assessing ambient conditions within watersheds, regions, and throughout the State. It can also be used to assess the performance of compensatory mitigation projects and restoration projects. This training is intended for local, state and federal agencies, NGO partners where appropriate, and Tribes
Interested parties will apply to attend the class. Selection criteria will be based upon the group's anticipated use of CRAM, demonstrated need for training, and balancing participants across tribes and agencies. Participants will be selected on March 30/31st, and notified on April 1st. Those that were not selected will be put on a waitlist. The application will remain open if the class has not filled by April 1.
