The Resource Conservation District (RCD) of Greater San Diego County connects people to resources that strengthen the land, wildlife, and communities. We work across the majority of San Diego County on a variety of program areas, including wildfire resilience, climate-smart agriculture, education, pollinator habitat, and community garden management.
The Education and Outreach Coordinator supports the RCD’s mission by connecting the community to conservation through engaging educational programs, volunteer events, and strategic communications. This role bridges environmental education and public engagement, creating opportunities for residents to learn about and participate in natural resource conservation efforts while showcasing the RCD’s impact through storytelling and outreach.

• Coordinate and promote volunteer opportunities and community events, ensuring consistent messaging and participant engagement.
