The Southern California Natural Resources Team is looking for a seasoned and technically accomplished Senior Regulatory Specialist to support permitting needs, including conducting jurisdictional delineations pursuant to methods established by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) for the Arid West Region, preparing permit applications for individual, general, and programmatic permitting efforts with the Corps, Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), and California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), working with the restoration team to draft mitigation-related documents, working with the biological team to support consultations with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and other technical documents. You will join an existing team of Natural Resources professionals that includes wildlife biologists, botanists, aquatic resource biologists (waters, wetlands, and riparian areas), restoration ecologists, and regulatory specialists. You may conduct work at project sites across southern California that require travel away from home and overnight stays.
The position can be based in Southern CA with office locations in San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, CA. Option to work remotely within Southern California.
