The Conservation District is a California Special District established in 1932 to improve the reliability of local water supplies through proactive groundwater recharge management. Nearly ninety years later, our mission to recharge the Bunker Hill Groundwater Basin in an environmentally and economically responsible manner continues. To achieve this mission, the Conservation District seeks a Land Resources Manager I/II to join our team to manage Conservation District-owned lands for both species’ and water conservation purposes, ensure compliance with our Upper Santa Ana River Wash Habitat Conservation Plan and associated operational permits, and implement other important environmental programs and projects.
