As a Fish and Wildlife Biologist your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provides administrative and technical guidance to subordinate staff and gives advice and support to other Service units in the region in carrying out the Service's responsibilities
• Provide scientific review and recommendations on actions involving listed species and critical habitat and to protect and enhance fish and wildlife resources and their habitat
• Provide technical and financial support to private landowners and other nonfederal landowners in the office's area of responsibility who want to improve fish and wildlife habitat on their properties
• Conduct field studies, prepare/review species and habitat plans, and develop and implement management and recovery plans to protect fish, wildlife or plants and their habitat
