The Water Quality, Supply, and Infrastructure Improvement Act of 2014 (Proposition 1) provides funding to implement the objectives of the California Water Action Plan for more reliable water supplies, the restoration of important species and habitat, and a more resilient, sustainably managed water resources system. Proposition 1 authorizes CDFW to award $372.5 million in grant funds to multi-benefit ecosystem and watershed protection and restoration projects. CDFW distributes these funds on a competitive basis through the:

1. Watershed Restoration Grant Program, and

2. Delta Water Quality and Ecosystem Restoration Grant Program
