The Nongame Wildlife Program is looking for a highly motivated Senior Environmental Scientist (Specialist) to work with a dedicated team of wildlife professionals and stakeholders to develop a statewide Bobcat Management Plan informed by a statewide species assessment. Under the direction of the Nongame Wildlife Program Manager, the incumbent will lead the development and implementation of a statewide bobcat survey, facilitate the compilation of existing Department bobcat data, and conduct statistical analyses in coordination with a Technical Advisory Group and six regional teams. The incumbent will closely coordinate with Department staff and management as well as other affected and involved local, State, and Federal agencies and stakeholders to develop key management plan elements and prepare a statewide plan.
