A Senior Project Manager, SAR HCP Program Manager position is open in San Bernardino, CA. The purpose of this position is to provide vision, leadership, and oversight of the Upper Santa Ana River Habitat Conservation Program which includes a Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) and a full suite of programmatic regulatory compliance initiatives being undertaken by Valley District and regional partners in support of future water supply projects. The incumbent of this position will provide guidance and direction to staff, partners, and a team of consultants that are currently working to complete the HCP, programmatic permits, and significant habitat restoration projects throughout the Santa Ana River (SAR) watershed. Once the planning phase is complete, this position will transition to the primary leadership role with the responsibility of overseeing successful implementation of the Program.
