Manuscript Deadline - California Fish and Game: Special Issues

This year, the California Fish and Game Journal is doing several special issues on topics of current relevance to California and our fish and wildlife resources. The first of these issues is “Effects of Non-consumptive Recreation on Wildlife in California.” The issue will focus on how non-consumptive recreation (meaning recreation other than hunting and fishing; things like hiking, camping, mountain biking, horseback riding, etc.) that is often believed to be consistent with the goals of wildlife conservation may have significant effects on wildlife in protected areas where that recreation is occurring.

They need your help getting the word out! Attached is a flyer for the special issue—Please pass it along to anyone you think may be interested. We especially want to get the word out to academic institutions, other government agencies, and NGOs. The Journal’s Special Issue webpage can be found here. The Deadline for submitting manuscripts for this issue (including original research, notes, reviews, commentaries, and essays) is September 30, 2019.

Please direct any questions about the issue to Ange Darnell Baker (Angela.Baker@wildlife.ca.gov)
