The Land Resource Manager will work as part of the Vulcan Materials, Western Division Property team. The Land Resource Manager will manage habitat restoration projects inclusive of reducing the habitat impacts for aggregate mining projects and securing the necessary mitigations, managing habitat restoration of mining reclamation sites, manage existing conservation and mitigation banks, and work with the properties team to establish new mitigation banks throughout California. The habitat restoration efforts will include re- establishing wetlands in jurisdictional waterways, restoration of sensitive habitat which is home to endangered species, and ensuring compliance with state and federal resource agency regulations. Projects will be located in Southern, Central, and Northern California so there is some flexibility on office location and moderate travel is required.
