The ESA Southern California Region is seeking one or more Senior Biologists to work in the San Diego office. The preferred candidates will have a strong background and experience in biological resource surveys, permitting and endangered species documentation, leading biological report or CEQA/NEPA biological section preparation, business development, client management, and project/on-call contract management. Additional biological expertise including having USFWS 10a permits, and/or experience conducting USFWS protocol surveys, nesting bird survey surveys, vegetation classification mapping surveys, rare plant surveys is a plus but not required. You'll work on exciting and challenging projects including parks and preserves, land management planning, water and wastewater, commercial and residential development, energy, transportation, monitoring, and restoration.
