An excellent variety of speakers covering topics on the biocontrol of one of your least favorite weedy trees (tamarisk), updates on the South American Palm Weevil, relevant information on weeds from local partners (Cal. Fish and Wildlife, UC Cooperative Extension) and reports of new and spreading weeds in the county. There will also be a session on laws and regulations for herbicide applicators.
