Native Grass Planting at Rancho Jamul Ecological Reserve

Native grasslands were once one of California’s common habitats. Now, less than 5% of native grasslands remain. Come help build a ‘grass farm’ that will provide seeds for grasslands restoration throughout the region.

Wear a hat and sturdy shoes. Tools, drinks, and snacks provided.
