The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) is in the process of updating the State Wildlife Action Plan (SWAP). The SWAP examines the health of fish and wildlife populations and prescribes actions to conserve species and habitat before they become rare and more costly to protect.

The public information scoping meeting will provide updates on the preliminary work done and solicit input on the target habitats and preliminary conservation strategies.

Eleven meetings will take place throughout the state. The San Diego meeting will take place on Oct 16, 2014, 6-9pm.
