Highlights:
James Hung will be giving a presentation on native bees titled “Habitat fragmentation erodes multiple components of native bee temporal diversity in coastal sage scrub habitats". James is a PhD Candidate at UC San Diego working with Dr. David Holway. You may recall, last year we sent out a link to an article in the UCSD News Center highlighting James’ work (and calling him the "Lord of the Bees"); you can still view the article online here: http://ucsdnews.ucsd.edu/feature/lordofthe_bees
James has some colleagues working on a spider barcoding project at the Scripps Coastal Reserve and who are trying to get some crowd funding support. If interested, here is the link to learn more: https://crowdsurf.ucsd.edu/project/876
