Lunch and Learn with Brittany Cole Bush

The San Diego Foundation and the San Diego Management and Monitoring Program are hosting a lunch and learn on Tuesday, January 28th from 11:30am-1:00pm. Our guest speaker, Brittany Cole Bush, will present on the development of ecologically mindful grazing programs for vegetation management. She will share how “prescribed herbivory” is increasingly being utilized state-wise as an impactful, effective, and efficient strategy to reduce the accumulation of targeted biomass that leads to the severe threat of wildfires, while also working to support ecological health of the land, native habitats, and watersheds.

The San Diego Foundation is providing lunch for the event, so please RSVP to smccutcheon@usgs.gov to ensure we have enough food and seats.
