Invasive Tree Pest Issues Workshop - San Diego

When: July 28, 2016 • 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Where: Al Bahr Shrine Center, 5440 Kearny Mesa Rd, San Diego, CA 92111

Registration Fee: $35 per participant; registration deadline is July 25, 2016.

Description: This workshop will provide park and land managers and other stakeholders whose work involves trees in public and wildland areas, information on the current research, identification and management strategies for insect pest and disease threats impacting the region.

Who Should Attend: Public land managers, parks and campground personnel, arborists, pest applicators, roads and utilities staff and others concerned about tree health will benefit most from this training.

Continuing Education Units: Applications are in process with the California Department of Pesticide Regulation, Western Chapter of International Society of Aboriculture, and Society of American Foresters

The registration fee covers training, handout materials, lunch, morning and afternoon refreshments and continuing education units.
