Rare Plant Monitoring Training

SDMMP will be holding a training session for 2015 rare plant surveys on Conserved Lands in western San Diego County. The protocol is designed to collect data to fulfill the Management Strategic Plan's "Inspect and Manage" objective for 28 rare plant species (http://sdmmp.com/reportsandproducts/ManagementStrategicPlan.aspx).

The training is open to those of you who have not used our data collection protocol and data forms or for those of you who want a refresher. The training will be held March 3, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:30 at conference room 103 at the USGS offices (4165 Spruance Road, San Diego, CA 92101), followed by a field session at Mission Trails Regional Park from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. If you are interested, bring some food and join us for lunch at the Kumeyaay Lake picnic area at Mission Trails Regional Park prior to the afternoon field session.
